John Cooley – SEO Strategist and AI Advisor

With over 20 years of experience in digital marketing and a specialization in SEO since 2006, I am a seasoned SEO and AI specialist who has consistently been at the forefront of technological advances in our industry. My journey with AI began in 2019 when I started working daily with generative AI tools like GPT-2 (Talk to Transistors) long before they became mainstream.

As the owner of John Cooley ApS, I offer a unique combination of services including SEO, Growth Marketing and AI consulting. My approach combines data science, marketing technology, creativity and even ancient Greek rhetoric to develop what I call ‘Growth Intelligence’ strategies. These strategies have consistently helped my clients transform their online presence into a powerful tool to convert visitors into paying customers.

My expertise has been recognized throughout the industry, with my company being listed among the top SEO, Inbound Marketing, Content Marketing and Digital Marketing agencies in Denmark and Copenhagen. I am particularly proud of our ability to increase website traffic by hundreds of percent and significantly improve SEO visibility scores, even in challenging market conditions.

In addition to my work with John Cooley ApS, I am also part of ‘Birds Clouds’, a collective of experienced freelancers who have joined forces to offer agency-level services while retaining the personal contact and flexibility of individual freelancers. This unique setup allows us to handle larger projects and clients that would typically be out of reach for a single freelancer.

I am also an external AI consultant for ‘AI-Rådgivning’, a consulting firm in Holbæk that specializes in AI solutions. This role allows me to be at the forefront of AI development and apply it practically to business challenges.

My passion for AI and its applications in marketing has led me to seek further education in this field. In the fall of 2024, I will begin my bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at Mid Sweden University, which will allow me to deepen my understanding and stay ahead of the curve in this rapidly evolving field.

Throughout my career, I have held many roles – from being Growth Manager at Kurhotel Skodsborg, where I significantly increased organic traffic and revenue, to serving as Digital Marketing Manager at VisitVestsjælland A/S, where I developed multilingual content marketing and SEO strategies. I have also been recognized as a Brand Ambassador for Rank Ranger and have contributed as an SEO researcher for SEO Pro News.

What sets me apart is my ability to combine deep technical knowledge with strategic thinking and practical application.
